This was a big lesson in textures. The hair, skin tone, straw hat, dress fabric, embroidery and wicker chair were all so different from each other. I learned so much.

The reference photo for this was a home Christmas card photo shoot when the boys were young. Drawing the plaid and folds of the shirts was very tedious.
